Funches-Wade and Wade were married from 2002 to 2010 and share 20-year-old son Zaire Wade, as well. Wade is also a father to 8-year-old son Xavier, with former partner Aja Metoyer, and 3-year-old daughter Kaavia, whom he shares with his current wife Gabrielle Union. "While none of us are surprised by Siohvaughn’s attempt to fight Zaya’s identity and her unwavering attempt to drag my name through the mud, I’m very disappointed that she continuously find ways of centering herself and HER needs, without regard to her children," he added. "This report came out while Zaya was in class. This is a kid who has maintained a 4.0 GPA in honors classes while navigating all this unsolicited and harmful attention and debates about her gender and sexuality from those who are committed to not listening to her, much less even knowing her."

The Times reported that Wade's Hidden Hills property exceeded its water allocation in June by 1,400%. Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union, wrote in a statement to the Times that the overage was due largely to a problem with their pool, but they said they've taken "drastic steps'' to cut their usage.
Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade addressed the rumor that he had a poster of his wife, Gabrielle Union, hung on his wall in college. Wade joined “The Late Show,” with Steph Colbert to explain his side of the story. “That is a lie,” Wade said in regards to reportedly having a poster of Union on his wall in college. “My wife is a bigger celebrity than me. … This is a planted story. This did not happen, people. She’s lying. “Now, I had the magazine that she was on the cover of and probably was under my pillow, but it wasn’t on the wall.”
Gabrielle Union, the wife of former Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade, recently opened up about the trauma she endured when Wade had a child with another woman during their relationship. Union and Wade weren’t married at the time, but they were several years into a relationship with each other. “In 2013, before we were married, Dwyane had a baby with another woman,” Union wrote in her new memoir. “It should go without saying that we were not in a good place in our relationship at the time that child was conceived. But we were in a much better place when he finally told me about the pregnancy. To say I was devastated is to pick a word on a low shelf for convenience. There are people — strangers who I will never meet — who have been upset that I have not previously talked about that trauma. I have not had words, and even after untold amounts of therapy I am not sure I have them now. But truth matters.”
Three-time NBA champion Dwyane Wade’s wife surprised her husband just before his 39th birthday and gave him a rather rare and unique gift these days. Former NBA superstar Dwyane Wade will become the latest celebrity to participate in PBS Kids and Little Free Library's read-along initiative. Gabrielle Union has been enduring lockdown with her husband Dwyane Wade and their kids. But the actress revealed that her former NBA player husband has an interesting isolation hobby: watching his old games. Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday's episode of The Tonight Show, the 47-year-old said that to cope with the lack of sports airing during the pandemic, Dwyane has resorted to watching some games from his 16-year career.
'We watched the 06 finals, and obviously I'd seen it over the years but never with him,' the Being Mary Jane actress said. 'You know, he was live tweeting this game like "oo good move D-Wade."' 'But then I started watching it and I didn't know how it ended. And he missed these two free-throws at the end of the game and like I didn't want to talk to him for the rest of the night,' she joked.
While drinking some specials from the Wade Cellars, Gabrielle admitted that there was a time she thought that the A-list couple should just go their separate ways. "I was like, 'You guys, the likelihood of this working out is very low and you should just break up now and have sex with other people,'" Gabrielle confessed during their live interview via Instagram. "I used a little bit more different language but is that not what I told y'all both?"
