Manu Ginobili: So cool to see @tiagosplitter becoming head coach of the Bulls!! Very very very happy for you my friend!! Congrats and good luck!!
Manu Ginobili: Congrats to the @nyknicks on winning the NBA Finals! Coach Mike Brown, Finals MVP Jalen Brunson (an absolute beast!), and a tough, experienced group of players right in their prime got the job done. 👏👏
Manu Ginobili: 🇺🇸I cannot believe what just happened! Unreal! Extremely tough loss. Now time to lick wounds and try again. No alternatives. 😓 🇦🇷No puedo creer el partido que perdimos! Extremadamente doloroso! Ahora a lamerse las heridas y volver a intentarlo. No queda otra. 😓
Manu Ginobili: What a game! Very stressed out! Way to grind it, @spurs!!

Nick Van Exel: "I've been around some incredible workers. I played with Manu Ginobili. I played with Dirk Nowitzki. Those guys were among the hardest workers I've ever seen in basketball. But Kobe Bryant was on another level. When it came to work ethic, he ran laps around people. It wasn't even close. That's not disrespect toward Manu or Dirk. It's a compliment to Kobe. His commitment was extreme. His attention to detail was obsessive. Even as an 18-year-old, he approached improvement differently from everyone else. Most players work hard. Kobe seemed driven by something deeper. He wasn't just trying to stay good. He was chasing mastery. Every drill, every workout, every repetition had a purpose. Looking back, it's easier to understand why he became who he became. The work was already there long before the championships arrived."

Spurs Harper, on being compared to Manu Ginobili: “I think that’s a fair comparison to say. I think it’s an accurate comparison. We’re both lefties, big guards. Yeah, I’ve had a lot of conversations with him, especially when I first got here. Me and him kind of talked a lot about the role of the team and what to do, things of that nature. I think he’s kind of, more than anyone for me, been that vet that’s been around the Spurs for a long time and kind of just giving me insight of what he’s been through.”
But veteran guard De'Aaron Fox pointed out that Popovich isn't the only Hall of Fame resource walking around the building every day as a valued source of knowledge and expertise on the championship stage. Current CEO R.C. Buford, the team's former general manager and two-time NBA Executive of the Year, is also a trusted voice within the organization along with Duncan, Manu Ginobili, David Robinson and a host of other Spurs all-time greats such as Sean Elliott and Bruce Bowen. "It's great," Fox said. "Not even just Pop, just the organization as a whole. It's a lot of people walking through this building that have been there and done that. We could just have practice, and Manu is there or Tim is there. We have these guys who have won multiple championships and been to the mountaintop multiple times. You can ask them anything.
Manu Ginobili: Let's say it again... "The Spurs are the Western Conference Champions!". My first one as a fan!
Manu Ginobili: What a game! These two teams are incredible. Fun and exhausting to watch! 1-0 Spurs! This kid is really otherworldly! 👽 #GoSpursGo

Manu Ginobili: These very young @Spurs made it to the Conference Finals! Amazing work by players, coaches, staff, and everybody involved. Now let's go for more! #GoSpursGo
As a left-handed guard who comes off the bench, Spurs rookie Dylan Harper said he gravitated toward a fellow lefty sixth man in San Antonio legend Manu Ginobili, who now works for the organization as a special advisor. "I play a role I'm not used to [off the bench]," Harper said after the Spurs' 120-108 win over the Portland Trail Blazers in Friday night's Game 3, "but he kind of put in my head that you've got to impact the game in any way you can."
Harper, who totaled just 16 points in the first two games of the series, said Ginobili has been a mentor to him, adding that the Hall of Famer's "mentality" is what he tries to emulate most. "We have conversations about my role and stuff like that," he said. "It's next game up. If you have a bad game, once you get out of the shower, it's next game."
