Less than three weeks after former Butler big man Andrew Smith died after a lengthy battle with cancer, his former teammate Emerson Kampen lost his 6-month-old son to Leigh's disease. Emerson Kampen IV was born in late June and diagnosed several weeks ago with Leigh's disease, a genetic disorder that affects the central nervous system. He died early Monday morning.
