Regardless of the outcome against the Pistons, Devin Booker confirmed to The Detroit News that he plans to attend the Detroit Lions' Divisional Round game against the Washington Commanders at Ford Field. As a Grand Rapids native and lifelong fan of the Lions, Booker hopes for a championship. "We've seen success in all of the other franchises, but that's the one we have been waiting on," Booker told The Detroit News before Saturday's game. "There is a culture being built that matches this city. It has been a fun team to rally behind."

For all the competitive moments with James, Curry maintains that they are friends, and it all goes back to that March Madness game against Wisconsin in 2008. “He’s a great dude, great friend, great competitor,” Curry said. “It’s amazing to go back to look at where it all started, in Ford Field and a Sweet Sixteen game.”
