With the announcement of his latest children's book, "Happy Spooky Halloween," on Thursday, LeBron James has put on his author hat once again. The 32-page picture book with illustrations by Ariel Landy is about "teamwork and Halloween thrills." It is set to release on July 21 by publisher HarperCollins.

The plot follows a main character named Zara and her friends attending a Halloween party "the big kids" are throwing at fictional Hickory Elementary, according to HarperCollins' description.
Former NBA star Allen Iverson will appear in New Orleans next month to promote his new memoir, organizers announced. Baldwin & Co. bookstore will host Iverson on Oct. 10 for a discussion about his life and career, including his childhood, his rise as the No. 1 overall pick in the 1996 NBA draft and his controversial but influential years in professional basketball.

"When I looked through, there were so many memories, lessons, philosophies, things that have helped me get through," Curry said Wednesday during a "TODAY" interview with Savannah Guthrie and Craig Melvin. "Not only to inspire myself to keep going, because I still have a lot more to accomplish on the court, but to kind of go through and highlight some of the things that I've learned."

When asked about what he plans to do when he finally retires, Curry promised he won't leave the game. Whether it's coaching or another role, he says he will find a place in basketball after he is done playing. "I see what these coaches go through in the league, so I understand how hard the job is," Curry said. "For me though, it's about figuring a way to have an influence in the game, to give back to it the way that so many people have poured into me. Whether that's a skill development thing, a consultant thing, I don't know what it is, but I know I'm going to be a part of the game where anybody can reach out to me."
Allen Iverson is heading out on the road to share his story with the world. The Basketball Hall of Famer is embarking on a book tour to talk about his memoir, Misunderstood. Iverson’s book tour will begin in New York, then New Jersey, Washington, DC, and Louisiana.

NBA star Stephen Curry has a deal with a Random House Publishing Group imprint that you could call a three-point play. The 11-time All Star with the Golden State Warriors has agreed to release three books through One World, beginning Sept. 9 with "Shot Ready," which Curry is calling a "personal reflection" on his life on and off the court. The book includes more than 100 photographs. "I want to use my story to connect with people of different backgrounds and help them solve the puzzle of their own potential," Curry said in a statement released Saturday through One World. "This book is a celebration of the work that happens in the shadows, the creativity that fuels every move, and the mindfulness that keeps me grounded. I hope 'Shot Ready' inspires readers to embrace their own journey, trust the process, and always find joy in the pursuit of excellence."
It appears that time has arrived, with NJ Advance Media’s Adam Zagoria reporting that Hurley is set to release a “tell-all book” this fall. Taking to X, the 52-year-old head coach made his own announcement regarding the book, which will be titled Never Stop: Life, Leadership and What it Takes to Be Great and written in the first-person alongside author Ian O’Connor. “I’ve confronted a lot of adversity on my life’s journey and I’m proud to share those stories–along with my leadership philosophies in building championship teams at UConn–in my book ‘Never Stop,'” Hurley wrote. “I’m writing this to help people overcome & succeed.”

When New York street artist Andaluz finished his Costa Mesa mural honoring Kobe Bryant, his daughter, Gianna, and seven others who lost their lives in a Jan. 26, 2020, helicopter crash, he dedicated it to a state that was still mourning the loss of one of its icons. “I truly hope this piece brings some comfort to all of those that were affected by this tragedy,” Andaluz wrote in an Instagram post Feb. 24, 2020, upon finishing the project, adding “This one is for you Cali. From New York with love.” Five years later, Andaluz’s loving depiction of Kobe and Gigi in that mural is going worldwide. That portrait of a stoic Bryant with his daughter resting her head on top of his is being used as the cover art for the upcoming book “Mamba & Mambacita Forever.”
