Darvin Ham was also scratched off the list for Mike Brown’s top assistant. The Milwaukee Bucks denied the Knicks’ request to interview Ham for the associate head coach position, The Post has learned. Ham joins James Borrego of the Pelicans and Jay Triano of the Mavericks as candidates under contract who weren’t granted permission to interview with the Knicks.
Gary Washburn: Milwaukee just wasn't ever really a great fit. Obviously when Portland was looking to move him, he wanted to go to Miami. that didn't work out. There was the Celtic rumors and I know our friend Chris Haynes was like, "No, he ain't going to Boston." I've been told that that's a little different now and that he's open to new teams and obviously he wants to win a championship. The only thing he does not have in his career is a title. He's top 75.
The Warriors have been viewed as the overwhelming favorite to sign Horford if he keeps playing. However, a new report from Marc Spears of ESPN.com listed a couple of new Eastern Conference teams as showing interest in the big man as he weighs his next move. “Golden State obviously expected him to sign last week, he didn’t [sign],” Spears said on ESPN’s NBA Today Monday. “Lakers, Milwaukee, and Atlanta, I believe are also interested in a nearly 40-year-old guy who also has retirement on the table. He’s still considering retiring, he’s not in any hurry. He’s got a sixth kid coming on the way, he lives in Atlanta and Boston in the offseason. I’m hearing that whether it’s Golden State and a lesser extent to the Lakers, being away from the family that far isn’t going to be in that decision.”
As the Milwaukee Bucks await the decision of Giannis Antetokounmpo on whether he'll stay or request a trade this offseason, team president Peter Feigin gave a positive indication that Antetokounmpo isn't going anywhere. "We kind of laugh internally, it's where we've been for 10 years," Feigin said on NBA TV. "Giannis loves Milwaukee, Milwaukee loves Giannis. We're in a good place. We feel great about it. It's business as usual... We're looking forward to next season."

Myles Turner on leaving Indiana: ‘At the end of the day, bro, it's not a Cinderella story, you know what I mean? I think that's what how people are trying to form this and though I think the way I viewed it is I wanted to be thankful, for just the people that rock with me the entire time, my 10-year journey in Indiana, but also let them realize that at this time I didn't made the best decision for my family made the best decision for me and myself going into my prime, and this is how I saw fit. Kyrie Irving: Wait, so there's a better version of Myles Turner? Myles Turner: Absolutely, I'm evolving.
Myles Turner: ‘Free agency is crazy because, you know, you view yourself one way and then you hope that others view you that way as well across the league. But then you might value yourself a certain way and demand a certain amount of number or a certain number. And then the rest of the league, you know, might be cap space or, you know, there's only a mid-level exception. ‘We can only offer you this.’ So, you know, it's a tough world of emotion, to say the least.’
Kyrie Irving: 86% of our marriages fail in the NBA. That's an insane number. I don't think a lot of people know that number, but 86% of our marriages fail. So, you basically shooting damn near 85%. As soon as you soon as you ask to marry somebody, you basically like, "Yo, this got an 85% chance to fail." Yeah, I obviously focus on the other 15% and 14% of the married couples because there is magic to that, right? It does take a special person. But the reason why I was asking was when you were 18, 19 coming in, you were 19 cuz you were a day apart in terms of March 24th, March 23rd. How was that in terms of your relationship building afterwards? Cuz now you're getting to know tons of people. Now you're Myles Turner known by not just thousands but millions of people. How was relationship building after that? Like figuring out who you are? Myles Turner: I've grown so much. I'm going into my 30s and my 20s, I look back on I have zero regrets. Zero. Because it was all part of my process. But to answer your question, what I would say is that when I first got in the league, everybody's going to bow down. “Oh, you're Myles Turner. You're the sh*t. You're this, this, and that.” You got to you got to figure out who to listen to and who to tune out." Because I think my problem was I listened to everybody. You know, my mind was very impressionable at that age.
Myles Turner: This basketball thing, this money, it's amazing, bro. Like chat, I promise you. Kyrie Irving: Yeah we don’t take it for granted, it’s amazing. Turner: But bro, there is just so much more out there. You are nothing without your health. You're nothing without your wellness. You're nothing about you're nothing without the love that surrounds you. And I think that's something I've internalized. I love nature. I really enjoy hiking and being outdoors. I'm more of a mountains over beach kind of guy.

Shams Charania: Cole Anthony has agreed to a contract buyout with the Memphis Grizzlies and plans to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks after he clears waivers, sources tell ESPN. Grizzlies finalized the buyout with Jeff Schwartz and Javon Phillips of Excel Sports for Anthony's new opportunity.
League sources say that both the Suns and the Clippers continue to weigh the prospect of reuniting with Chris Paul. Yet it remains unclear what happens if a deal with neither of those previous employers materializes for the 40-year-old. Paul has already rebuffed an approach from his home-state Charlotte Hornets earlier in free agency and likewise has interest from Milwaukee but has shown little inclination to this point to consider overtures from Eastern Conference teams.
Giannis Antetokounmp "I used to go to church here." "How many times? Like every Sunday?" Gianni "Every Sunday. And every Saturday, we gathered together and played board games, ping pong, chess. Then on Sunday, we’d go to church, and after that, we’d eat a snack. I’m very religious."
