Knicks lead radio analyst Monica McNutt said she “misspoke” after she questioned Taylor Swift’s Knicks loyalty while on the air during Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals. During a Thursday interview with TMZ, McNutt — who said “get out of here, girl” when she spotted Swift on Celebrity Row — explained that she was unaware of the singer’s Knicks fandom. “Swifties, I appreciate your passion, I said what I said,” McNutt said, referring to Swift’s fan base, which let her hear on social media over her remarks. “Here’s the deal, if I’m wrong, I am wrong apparently because she’s got an original Amar’e Stoudemire [Knicks] jersey. I misspoke. I did not know.”

Four individuals — including three that seemed to be some sort of Madison Square Garden security or staff — stopped an overzealous male fan Wednesday night who ventured a little too close to the pop star while trying to either take a selfie or record a quick video with Swift ahead of the Knicks’ epic Game 4 rally. While Swift chatted it up pregame on the floor alongside the Haim sisters in the location of her upcoming wedding to Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce, it appeared the male fan said something that caused Swift and the Haim sisters to look in his direction while he held his phone up high in his right hand.

At Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden on June 10, Taylor Swift showed up in a custom blue-and-orange “Stevie Knicks” T-shirt, a playful mashup of the Knicks and legendary singer Stevie Nicks. The shirt immediately caught the attention of fans online, especially after photos and videos of Swift courtside began circulating across social media. Swift attended the game with sisters Este and Alana Haim, who leaned into the joke as well, wearing matching pun-inspired shirts that read “Knickelback” and “Knickole Kidman.”

The Post spotted Swift with her arms in the air and dancing as she made her way from her courtside seat on celebrity row. In another part of the video, Swift can be seen dancing and cheering with her frienda Este and Alana Haim and the Knicks 7th Ave Hype Squad, and at the end, she can be heard asking one of the Haim sisters, “What is life?” as she makes her way out of the arena.

Coach Carlisle and center Myles Turner walk together up Madison Square Garden’s circular ramp to the event level, talking about music and their lives off the court. Carlisle saw five-time Grammy Award winner Robert Glasper, a jazz musician and fellow pianist, the night before at the Blue Note in Manhattan. As the pair walked up the ramp, Carlisle asked Turner if he knew of Glasper. Turner wasn’t familiar with his music but told Carlisle he would definitely check him out. “I greatly admire Myles Turner as a guy who has wide-ranging and eclectic taste in music,” Carlisle said. “When he has his music plugged into the sound system in the weight room, you will hear everything from rap to R&B to country and even Taylor Swift.”
