Gilbert Arenas on black players getting tattoos: ’Big sleeves and stuff, corporate America, them sponsors, the don't f*ck with it still, right? For some reason on our color skins, just be honest, right? If you're Caucasian, you fall into the Rock Star look, the David Beckham, you know what I mean? You fall into that look. But you know, just reality, we're thugs, right? It's still, that's the look of it still. So you have to be careful when you get tats.

WHENEVER JALEN WILLIAMS grabs his phone, he sees a collage of Kobe Bryant photos as his lock screen. The first tattoo the 22-year-old Oklahoma City Thunder forward ever got was a portrait of Bryant's face, steely eyed and biting down on the collar of his uniform. It covers the outside of his right leg from his ankle to just below the knee. The Mamba merch in his personal collection includes sneakers, shirts, magazines, posters, action figures -- and blankets. Plural.

Dennis Rodman's girlfriend says the NBA legend's new face tattoo featuring a portrait of her was not her idea at all ... explaining to TMZ Sports that when he first told her he wanted to get it, she thought he was "crazy!!!" Rodman and his GF, Yella Yella, spoke all about the new artwork roughly 24 hours after the former Bulls star got it done ... and the two made it clear to us, The Worm wasn't influenced by anyone other than himself when he decided to get the ink put on his cheek. "I actually told him not to do it," Yella Yella said. "I'm like, 'What're you doing!'"
LaMarcus Aldridge just got a new massive back tattoo featuring an image of the Joker ... and check it out -- it's so seriously awesome!!! The former NBA star hit up Andres Ortega and his Onder Ink team last month to get the piece done ... and after sitting under the needle for 10 hours, most of the backside of the hooper's 6'11" frame was completely covered in ink. On the bottom of the tattoo, Aldridge got Batman's nemesis tatted because, according to Ortega, the former San Antonio Spurs forward said there was a time in his life when nobody believed in him -- and this was his way of laughing at those detractors.
NFL star Maxx Crosby just got a permanent reminder to chase greatness daily ... getting pictures of Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, and Kobe Bryant tattooed all over his torso!! The Las Vegas Raiders pass rusher got the work done last week ... hitting up Andres Ortega at Onder Ink for the massive piece, and check out the images of the artwork -- it came out awesome. Just above his right hip, Crosby got a shot of Jordan in the middle of a free-throw stroke. To the left of that, the football player had an iconic snap of Ali put down. And, just above his left hip, Crosby also got a photo of Kobe mid-celebration inked too.

Tuesday night's 121-103 win over the New Orleans Pelicans was enough to clinch their first division title since 2002-03. The team already ended its 16-year postseason drought with last week's 120-80 win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Things are looking up for the Kings, so much so that a fan decided to honor a preseason promise and permanently celebrate the 2022-23 season by getting a tattoo of head coach Mike Brown.
@zionwilliamson trusted me with his first-ever tattoo - humbled is an understatement. Thank you brother✨🏀❤️🔥🙏🏽 We worked on this piece a while ago, and I haven’t posted because social media can be an overwhelming place sometimes.
After playing well for Germany during EuroBasket, Schröder appears enthusiastic about a restart with the franchise. Some fans, however, have noticed one small problem. Back in May, after Schröder was already traded from Boston to Houston, the guard posted a photo on Instagram of another tattoo he had. This tattoo is of Lucky, who is the mascot for the Celtics. That means, yes, Schröder will have both a Lakers logo and a Celtics logo when he suits up for the Purple and Gold.
