Jordan Taylor is leaning toward accepting an offer to play on the Milwaukee Bucks’ Summer League team in Las Vegas next month. The former star point guard for the University of Wisconsin men’s basketball wasn’t among the 60 picks in Thursday night’s NBA draft, so he’ll try to make a roster as an undrafted free agent.

Marquette's Darius Johnson-Odom and Wisconsin's Jordan Taylor were among a group of six guards working out for the Bucks on Sunday at the Cousins Center. Johnson-Odom revealed he received some friendly advice Saturday night from Oklahoma City star Kevin Durant. The advice came in a text message not long after Durant scored 18 of his 36 points in the final 7 minutes of the Thunder's 109-103 playoff victory over the San Antonio Spurs. "I have a good friend in Kevin Durant and texted him last night about the game," Johnson-Odom said. "He texted me back as soon as he got it. "He said, 'It's going to be hectic this month. You've just got to stay focused and stay faithful.' He said, "It will all work out for you.' I'm able to talk to him. He's helping me out because he likes my game and he likes the person I am."
