After a one-year hiatus, free agent forward Mickael Pietrus says he is 100 percent healthy and ready to make his return to the NBA. "I feel great," Pietrus told Northeast Ohio Media Group. "I took a year off to make sure my body was fresh. I feel great and my workouts have been great. I'm ready to show that I have five-six more years of playing."
According to one league executive, who requested anonymity and has observed a Pietrus workout in the past few weeks, says the 32-year-old swingman can help a NBA team right now. "You can tell right away that he can still be a productive player," the executive said. "His movements are crisp and the athleticism is there. It's all about finding the right fit for him but he definitely belongs in the NBA."
