After learning that Nikola Jokic is a fan of his track “Many Men,” 50 Cent posted on social media that he is willing to get on stage with the Denver Nuggets star.
When God Shammgod returns home to the people who watched his dribbling brilliance, there’s shock that he became famous for a move so low on his list of tricks — a swipe back crossover built with a quick redirection that’s still known as “The Shammgod.” “It’s probably the worst move I’ve ever done,” Shammgod told The Post. “In New York, they’ve seen so many other stuff that I’ve done, they’re like, ‘They know you for that? With all the other stuff you were doing?’ “And I laugh. I relate it to 50 Cent. 50 Cent will always say he made all this great music, but everybody only wants to hear ‘In Da Club.’”

Kevin Love mentioned Spoelstra showing a documentary that had clips of FC Barcelona. “That level of professionalism and respect for the game is something that really resonated,” Love said. Tyler Herro was struck by a video that Spoelstra showed them about “Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent and Eminem and how they started, and the manager they had and he was the one rallying the troops, which is Spo [for the Heat]. Spo does [this type of thing] every year, but this year has been a little bit more with how up and down the season has been.”

What are some of the biggest influences that led you to pursue this a bit more seriously? Denzel Valentine: I was listening to hip-hop with my dad since I was born. My dad is definitely my biggest inspiration for me diving into this kind of music. We used to listen to Jay Z, 50 Cent, Tupac, Biggie and all of the old-school rappers. Once I started listening to rap on my own, I started listening to Lil Wayne. He was the first rapper that I really liked. I also got pretty into Drake and Meek Mill. Those are my three favorites of all-time so I want to make music the way they make music.
Lonzo also dug into his early rap influences. He listed DMX and 50 Cent as his two mains as a youngster, but held up Lil Wayne was “my favorite rapper.” “Man, Wayne has been doing this for so long and has always been consistent with his music,” Ball said. “Lyrically, he’s definitely one of my favorites to do it. I need him to be free so he could put that other album out for me, but he’s already put a lot towards the game.”
