In the spot designated for agent contact information, Derek Willis wrote down the phone number for Keely Potts. That's not the former Kentucky basketball player's agent. That's his fiancee. So when the Detroit Pistons called earlier this summer to inform Willis they were offering a contract, Potts answered the call. "So it was kind of a little different," the 6-foot-9 Willis said Tuesday.
Derek Willis: "I just put her name down, but it was in the wrong spot. It was for an emergency contact and I was like, 'Call my fiancee,' you know. I guess they took it as, like, my agent. They ended up calling her with the news. It was just weird."
