Shams Charania: The Denver Nuggets are signing 2023 first-round pick Cam Whitmore on a two-way NBA deal, sources tell ESPN. Whitmore enters his fourth NBA season after averaging 10.5 points and 3.3 rebounds over 119 career games -- and has already joined the Nuggets for workouts in Denver.

Michael Scotto: The Orlando Magic will hire Ronnie Burrell as head coach of their G League affiliate, the Osceola Magic, league sources told HoopsHype. Burrell was previously an assistant coach for the Portland Trail Blazers and Brooklyn Nets. He also was the G League Coach of the Year in 2023.

Keith Smith: Trevor Keels and the Washington Wizards have agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract, a league source told @spotrac.com . The Capital City Go-Go recently acquired Keels' G League rights.

Ira Winderman: In an interesting twist, the Heat's affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce, have acquired the G League rights to center Mo Bamba. As part of the deal, the Heat have traded away their G League rights to Trevor Keels to the Wizards' affiliate.

Mike Curtis: Nate Mitchell has been named head coach of the Texas Legends, G League affiliate of the Mavs. The Toronto native joins the Legends after serving as head coach of the Guangzhou Loong Lions in the Chinese Basketball Association. He also has NBA coaching experience with the Hornets, Raptors & Bucks.

Ira Winderman: Mauricio Casamajor, who has served as the Heat's video coordinator the past three seasons, has been named coach of the Heat G League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce. He replaces Dan Bisaccio, who guided the Skyforce the past two seasons and now returns to Spoelstra's Heat staff.

The Atlanta Hawks have signed center Will Baker to an Exhibit 10 contract. Baker will join the Hawks initially, but will likely land with the College Park Skyhawks after the preseason for the upcoming G League season.

Michael Scotto: The Sacramento Kings will add Brendan Suhr and Jason Maxiell as assistant coaches, league sources told @hoopshype . Suhr has spent over 25 years as an NBA coach and executive and 15 seasons as a college coach. Maxiell was as an assistant coach for the Stockton Kings (G League).

Igor Milicic Jr. went undrafted in last year's NBA Draft. After the Philadelphia 76ers brought him in on a 2025 training camp deal but ultimately opted not to sign him, Milicic Jr. joined their G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats. He averaged 6.8 points and 5.1 rebounds in 13 games played last season for Delaware. A homegrown sensation for the Polish men's national team, the 24-year-old played for Virginia, Charlotte, and Tennessee in his college career.

Omari Sankofa II: The Cruise have officially hired Steve Scalzi as their third head coach. Scalzi joined the Pistons as an assistant in 2023 and was the head coach of their summer league roster in July.
