Curry attended Davidson College from 2006 to 2009 and during those three years became the school's all-time leader in points, 3-pointers, free throws, field goals and steals. Curry also finished his college career as the Southern Conference's all-time leading scorer, set an NCAA record with 162 triples in 2008, was the 2009 Southern Conference Bob Waters Male Athlete of the Year and was a consensus All-American in 2009. He led the Wildcats to the Elite Eight in 2008. "Every president at every commencement makes hopeful statements about graduates' futures," Hicks said. "In that spirit, I hereby predict, with confidence, Stephen Curry, that you will enjoy considerable success in your life and career after college."

Long before he won an NBA title, a league MVP award and he and the Warriors began re-writing the NBA record book, Stephen Curry was a pretty successful player at Davidson College in North Carolina. On Tuesday, his Wildcats career was honored with his being named to the Southern Conference Hall of Fame. A first-round draft pick by the Warriors in 2009, Curry left Davidson as a two-time Southern Conference player of the year and is still its all-time leading scorer (2,635 points).

Andrew Goudelock, the Southern Conference player of the year from Charleston, has hopes of going from mid-major school to the NBA. He was the nation's fifth-leading scorer as a senior, showing the offensive firepower it took to possibly make it at the next level. The Harlem Globetrotters can say they got to him first, announcing the 6-foot-2 guard as one of their "draft picks" on Tuesday. It's fun and games, of course, but it doesn't just mean Goudelock can always don the flag-colored uniform if he ever chose to do so. It's also recognition that he's one of the more entertaining players you can find anywhere. "I'm going to score wherever I am, whatever level I'm on, because that's my game," Goudelock told MLive.com last week while working out for the Detroit Pistons. "I'm going to be able to shoot until the day I die."
