Jake Fischer: Being told the Wolves are receiving cash in their three-team deal with Detroit and Chicago that offloads Mike Conley Jr. to the Bulls, and swaps Kevin Huerter and Jaden Ivey. Minnesota very much remains in active pursuit of Giannis Antetokounmpo, sources say.

Keith Smith: I'm currently projecting the Bulls to have about $27.6M in cap space this offseason. That's if they clear the decks of all of their free agents, minus Ayo Dosunmu and Jaden Ivey. Ivey's cap hold is about $6M more than Coby White's is. I'm assuming White won't be back next season.

Yossi Gozlan: The Bulls are now just $4.5 million under the luxury tax line by swapping Nikola Vucevic for Anfernee Simons. They also now have a comical logjam of guards. Bringing in both Simons and Jaden Ivey feels like they could be moving on from both Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu.

Yossi Gozlan: The Pistons will need to include another player or waive a player to make room for the two-for-one. Jaden Ivey for Kevin Huerter works straight up. Dario Saric will go into the $14.1 million Dennis Schroder trade exception. They have $8.7 million remaining in it.

Bobby Marks: To Chicago Conley: $10.8M Ivey: $10.1M To Detroit Huerter: $17.9M Saric: $5.4M Detroit was $19.9M below the tax prior to the trade

Shams Charania: Bulls and Pistons have desires met here in a young and veteran guards to Chicago and a sharpshooter goes to Detroit. Minnesota creates significant tax savings and roster space as they pursue a Milwaukee star this week.

Shams Charania: Just in: Chicago, Minnesota and Detroit have agreed to a multi-team deal that sends Jaden Ivey and Mike Conley Jr. to the Bulls and Kevin Huerter and Dario Saric to the Pistons, sources tell ESPN. Detroit also receives a 2026 first-round protected swap from Minnesota.

Omari Sankofa: I think the issue with Ivey is not necessarily his play, but just the role. He's averaging under 20 minutes per night. Some of that's because he was on a minute restriction. But then you look at their win over the Pelicans... Cade missed that game... and Daniss Jenkins starts and ends up playing more minutes... The rotation right now just doesn't have enough room for as many guards as they have... You just have to have guys who can play and have contributed to winning. So I think the question for the Pistons and Jaden Ivey is: Is this worth settling in the summer where you have a full regular season of information? I think Ivey hasn't played 30 games since he came back... But this is worse, though, because he is a pending restricted free agent... Do you go ahead and find that next move for him now where maybe he can get the minutes he needs to audition? It wouldn't surprise me at all if they played this out into the summer. Give him the rest of the season to get his legs back under him... But I think that's the conversation you have to have just because he is a pending restricted free agent.

After a Nov. 14 win over the Philadelphia 76ers without Cunningham, Duren, Ausar Thompson, Tobias Harris, Jaden Ivey and Marcus Sasser, Bickerstaff referred to his bunch as a group of “nasty dogs.” The nastiness they play with is fueled by the passion he paces the sideline with on a nightly basis. Isaiah Stewart, who could not hide his grin in the locker room after the win, gave Bickerstaff his credit for “being a dog, too.” “Having him, with his system, it fits Detroit basketball perfectly,” Stewart said.

Omari Sankofa II: Ivey: "As far as hitting shots, I hit some good shots and made some open ones that I usually take and make, and sometimes you miss them, sometimes you make them. Just taking the shots that were given to me."

Omari Sankofa II: Asked JB and Ivey learning how to be impactful off the bench: "We know he’s a weapon. We can use him so many different ways and we’re thankful to have a guy who had to adjust to a new role and still has to contribute … I think he’s done a great job with that."

Omari Sankofa II: FINAL: Pistons 108, Suns 105. Lots of missed free throws late but they won, ugly. Robinson: 19 pts Duren: 16 pts, 18 rebs Harris: 16 pts, 7 rebs Ivey: 15 pts Holland: 11 pts, 9 rebs Cunningham: 10 pts, 11 assts

Omari Sankofa II: FINAL: Pistons 121, Knicks 90. Was never close in the second half, complete dominance over the East's second-best team. They improve to 27-9 overall. Cunningham: 29 points, 13 assists Ivey: 16 pts Green: 14 pts

Bickerstaff spoke directly to the plan for Ivey ahead of the Pistons’ win over the Sacramento Kings. He said there’s “a plan in place for him to ramp up where he’s comfortable, where he’s confident, so that he can get back to playing the bulk minutes.” Bickerstaff made no mention of a timeline or gave specifics on the details of the plan.
