Shams Charania: The Washington Wizards are re-signing 7-footer Tristan Vukcevic to a two-way NBA deal, sources tell ESPN. Vukcevic averaged 9.4 points and 3.7 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per game last season and will enter his third NBA campaign.
Josh Robbins: The Wizards indeed have reached an agreement with restricted free agent Tristan Vukcevic on a two-way contract, a league source confirmed. With this week's trade of Kelly Olynyk, retaining Vukcevic will help the team's big-man depth. But Washington will need to add at least one more big to have enough depth there, and that presumes the team will keep Richaun Holmes.
Keith Smith: The Washington Wizards have tendered a two-way qualifying offer to Tristan Vukcevic. Vukcevic will now be a restricted free agent on July 1.

And recently, Tristan Vukcevic, his Washington Wizards teammate, adopted a cat at PetSmart. Josh Robbins: Tristan Vukcevic is playing this afternoon in the Capital City Go-Go's game in D.C. Vukcevic had not played since the NBA preseason because of a left knee contusion.

The Washington Wizards are gearing up for the start of the Summer League, with a couple of European players in its ranks. The 2nd overall pick from the previous NBA Draft, Alexander Sarr, will have his first taste of the NBA, and he’s in familiar company within the squad, having met Tristan Vukcevic while playing for Real Madrid‘s youth team. “When I was 14, I played at Real Madrid and he was there. It’s funny being on the same team; sometimes we talk about our Real Madrid days, and it’s nice seeing how far we’ve come,” Sarr said during pre-Summer League media availability.
With a smile on his face, Vukcevic fondly remembered the time he met the French center in the Spanish capital. “I know Alex from when I was in Madrid; we were there together for about two years, so it’s nice having somebody I grew up playing basketball with,” the former Real Madrid and Partizan player said. “He came in my second year at Madrid. He was always big, tall, athletic. I didn’t really get to play with him much; we practiced together a couple of times because of the age difference. He’s always been great, a bit quiet, but I’ll make sure he opens up a bit.”
Josh Robbins: The Wizards' summer-league roster, as expected, will be headlined by first-round picks Alex Sarr, Bub Carrington and Kyshawn George. The roster also is expected to include Tristan Vukcevic and Johnny Davis. The Wizards' summer-league opener is scheduled for Friday at 9:30 p.m. ET
Josh Robbins: The Wizards have announced that they have re-signed Tristan Vukcevic — this time to a two-way contract. This preserves a spot on the standard 15-man roster, and Vukcevic's two-way deal can be converted a standard deal or renegotiated to a multi-year standard deal down the line.
