These New York food joints are 86ing the 76ers’ hometown sandwich. Restaurants and bars from Manhattan to Long Island were banning “Philly” cheesesteaks from the menu as the Knicks take on the 76ers in the NBA’s Eastern Conference Semifinals. Empire State spots said they were rebranding Philly cheesesteaks as “the Philly SUCKS cheesesteak,” “the Big Apple cheesesteak” and other cheeky names in response to The Post calling around to see if establishments were ready to dunk on the B-rate city. “Philly needs to understand, New York is the king,” said Louis Cretella, the co-owner of Dario’s Pizza in West Hempstead.

The 76ers’ win left many Philadelphians overjoyed over the weekend, but some devoted Bruce Springsteen fans may not be among them. The Boss was set to play in Philly on May 8 at the Xfinity Mobile Arena, but the Sixers’ Round 1 NBA playoff win has pushed the concert to May 30. The team will face the New York Knicks at 7 p.m. Friday at Xfinity Mobile Arena.

The move of the concert to May 30 creates a big concert weekend pile up in Philadelphia. That date coincides with the first day of the Roots Picnic. This year, the festival presented by the Philly hip-hop crew and Tonight Show house band is moving from the Mann Center to Belmont Plateau with its biggest headliner ever: Jaÿ-Z.

Tim Bontemps: Final: Sixers 106, Celtics 93. A comprehensive victory by Philly over its blood rival sets up a Game 7 Saturday in Boston. Tyrese Maxey had 30 to lead Philly. Boston is now 17-1 in the playoffs under Joe Mazzulla when it hits 40% of its 3s. It is 19-19 when it does not.

“Definitely thought we could have played a bit faster, you know what I mean?” Jaylen Brown said. “When they score, take the ball out, get down the court. And just overall, just not good enough tonight. Can’t sum it up where, just a lot of different areas were not good enough. We’ll watch it, and we’ll make sure that we’ll come out — we got to make sure we come out with the right energy, the right mindset, the right mentality on the road in Philadelphia. So that’s what I’m looking forward to.” The Celtics didn’t need to make outside shots early to build a double-digit lead. After sinking a 3-pointer with seven minutes left in the second quarter, Jayson Tatum looked up and could be seen saying, “Thank you.” Before the make, he had missed his first four 3-point attempts. As a team, the Celtics misfired on 11 of their first 14. And still, his basket gave them a 42-31 lead.

Tim Bontemps: Final: 76ers 113, Celtics 97 A 28-11 fourth quarter powers Philly past Boston and this series to a Game 6 Thursday night in Philadelphia. Joel Embiid had 33-4-8 for the 76ers, while Jayson Tatum had 24 and 16 but Boston finished 11-for-38 from 3-point range.

Tim Bontemps: Final: Celtics 128, 76ers 96 Joel Embiid has 26-10-6 in his return from an emergency appendectomy, but the Celtics bludgeoned the 76ers to move to within one game of a seventh straight series victory over Philly across the last 40-plus years. Game 5 will be in Boston Tuesday.

His biggest moment came on a late three-pointer that helped Orlando regain control. “I shot it, didn’t feel bad,” Banchero said. “And then it bounced off the back rim, but when I saw how it bounced, went directly up. So the optimist in me was like, that’s going in.” He tied the shot to a mindset adjustment from earlier in the postseason. “I said after the Philly loss, basketball gods don’t reward hesitation,” he explained. “That one I didn’t hesitate and they blessed me with that make.” Orlando’s ability to respond after blowing a 17-point fourth-quarter lead reflected growth, according to Banchero. “When we got in the huddle once they tied it up, nobody was panicking,” he said. “Everybody just understood the moment.”
