Tim Hardaway: 'Mark Price was a fast white guy'

Tim Hardaway: Mark Price was a bad motherf*cker. He doesn’t get his just due. Nick Young: But where would he be ranked in this era? Tim Hardaway: There’s a lot of motherf*ckers who couldn’t stay with Mark Price. Mark Price was a fast white guy. He could stop on a dime, shoot in your face, split the double team, knew how to pass the ball, knew how to play the game. Mark Price was a bad motherf*cker. Rod Strickland, another motherf*cker. Kevin Johnson, another motherf*cker. We had some bad motherf*ckers in that era.

“Devin’s play on the court speaks for itself; he is one of the greats to ever put on a Suns uniform,” legendary Suns guard Kevin Johnson told Andscape. “But what stands out to me is his leadership on the court and his work in the community. He’s someone who gets it and is impacting so many around him. “Devin is a generational scorer. Obviously, to become a franchise’s all-time leading scorer, especially for an organization as admired as the Suns, is a testament to a player’s consistency and offensive skill set. Not only does Devin embody these traits, but his overall playmaking and leadership skills set him apart. I’m sure Walter would be as proud as I am to see Devin’s rise to the top.”

Former NBA star Kevin Johnson said the reason for opening his third Fixins Soul Kitchen restaurant in Tulsa was to "shine a light." "I wanted this restaurant to be here because, Tulsa, you deserve it," Johnson said prior to the ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday afternoon to open the restaurant at 222 N. Detroit Ave. That the opening took place on the 102nd anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre, and in the place that had been destroyed by violence and fire during the conflagration, also were intentional.
