The Hawks signed Tyler Cavanaugh to a partial guaranteed rookie contract Friday. The undrafted forward out of George Washington will attend training camp and then likely will play for the Hawks’ NBA G League affiliate, the Erie BayHawks.

George Washington's best scorer and rebounder, Tyler Cavanaugh, has pre-draft workouts lined up with the Utah Jazz and San Antonio Spurs, among other teams, league sources tell CSNmidatlantic.com before his agent, Keith Glass, confirmed Friday. Cavanaugh will workout for the Jazz, who are in a first-round playoff series with the L.A. Clippers, this weekend. The Spurs just ended their first-round series in six games with the Memphis Grizzlies.
