France defeated Sweden 79-69 in Stockholm to record their seventh win in eight games of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers.
Victor Wembanyama led the winners with 18 points, eight rebounds and three blocks, shooting 6-of-7 from the field. Maxime Raynaud and Matthew Strazel added 13 points apiece, while Jaylen Hoard finished with 10. Rudy Gobert did not play. Pelle Larsson paced Sweden with a game-high 23 points .
