Former NBA center Robin Lopez ripped former NBA players Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White over the weekend after the two claimed they were entering the WNBA Draft. “Biggest issue: If you’re being drafted, people are saying ‘We want you around for 4 years’ & I can’t imagine anybody wants Enes Kanter or Royce White around them for ever 4 minutes,” Lopez wrote on X. “We’ve seen this illustrated whenever Enes is near Turkey or Royce comes close to logic/reality.”
White replied, “Lol join the club ROBIN … I’ll slap your big goofy (expletive), (expletive) slap you like pootie tang! I will fight over these trans rights.” Lopez’s response? “Yes we get it you love slapping people with women’s names,” he wrote. That was an apparent dig at White’s controversial history. A Minnesota judge ruled in April that White abused his ex-wife and child and handed down a 50-year no-contact order involving his ex-wife, according to The Minnesota Star-Tribune. He was also reportedly issued a two-year order pertaining to their son.

Disney employees were in for a surprise this week when the Lopez brothers showed up for Disney's Cast Basketball League games at Mickey’s Retreat — a recreation area for Disney cast members and their family and friends. Brook and Robin, whose second stint with the Bucks ended in February when he was traded to the Sacramento Kings (he was immediately waived and did not play for them), greeted the employees, shot some hoops with them and signed autographs before taking a group photo.
Brook also used the appearance to promote the upcoming NBA playoffs. Disney owns ESPN and ABC, stations that are broadcasting partners of the NBA. ABC is also home of the NBA Finals.

It’s no accident Tristan Thompson returned to Cleveland, Derrick Rose went to Memphis, Robin Lopez landed back in Milwaukee or beloved behemoth Boban Marjanović is once again in Houston.
