Patrick Beverley: "I think D'Aaron Fox was trash. I think he was god-awful. And I don't think that was because of him. I think because he was injured a little bit. I think the coach should have had him come off the bench and kind of went with what he had against OKC. I didn't like him just putting him in the starting lineup. But you live and you learn, and that's the difference between good coaches and elite coaches. There's no disrespect to coach Mitch, but elite coaches would have put D'Aaron Fox on the bench, let him get his rhythm, and went with what they had."
Patrick Beverley: "Before I played with Karl-Anthony Towns I called him soft too, before I played with him. But when I left from playing with him, he's just so skilled. When I mean skilled, he's one of those players that when it's time to warm up before the game, he only need like five shots. He's played basketball for so long. He had his dad as a coach, so if you have a coach's son in the gym and he's been playing basketball since sixth grade with his dad and all that, basketball is easy. You don't need to be tough."
Brandon Jennings: Go to bed man. I torn my Achilles relax 100mill if that don’t happen. Congrats on your longer career and more money!
Patrick Beverley would sometimes refuse to answer questions from reporters during mandatory media appearances unless they subscribed to his podcast. When he shut out a producer from ESPN this way during his last N.B.A. season in 2024, it became a national story, and Mr. Beverley apologized. (Barstool produced his podcast, but that relationship disintegrated after Mr. Beverley was arrested on a felony assault charge; a grand jury declined to indict him. He has started a new, independent podcast.)
NBACentral: Pat Bev calls out Matt Barnes. “I’m not Derek Fisher, bro. You can take that left, or you can take that right—however you want... you weren’t better than me in basketball at anything. Zero.” 😳 (h/t @NBA__Courtside )

Draymond Green on the Dwyane Wade, Patrick Beverley: “D-Wade comes back and he’s like, I don’t understand why Patrick Beverley would say anything like that you ain’t good enough to talk about me. I like how D-Wade popped his sh*t, I respect it I’m not getting in the middle of those two brothers. You know, that’s a Chicago thing you let them do there thing. But, I will say Pat Bev coming out and throwing that three point percentage out, was hilarious. Well Pat Bev the defense was guarding y’all a lil bit different brotha.”

Patrick Beverley: You can be 4, it’s ok. You’re probably the only top 10 SG who didn’t shoot 30% from the 3 career wise. You shot 29%. Westbrook who we make names about him shot 31%. Andre Drummond shot 31%…. The game has evolved. James Harden played against better players than you played against. That’s also a fact. James has never missed a playoffs, you missed the playoffs multiple times. That is also a fact. You did it in the East. James had to run into the same team that was getting LeBron ass up out of there

NBA Courtside: Patrick Beverly list his facts on why he says James Harden is better than Dwyane Wade: MVPs: Harden Scoring titles: Harden Assist Titles: Harden All NBA 1st team: Harden All NBA 2nd team: Harden Career points: Harden Career assist: Harden Career rebounds: Harden Career steals: Harden Career blocks: Wade “I think this argument isn’t a disrespect to Dwyane Wade, I think it’s a disrespect to James Harden”

“It's funny when people ask me something about my time on the Lakers and about some coach or some player or something. I'm like, ‘I don't even know.' I didn't know. I had no clue about basketball. I kind of started learning basketball and everything around it when I first got to the Clippers. “I was a kid when I came over, and like, from day one, [Patrick Beverley], he got on my ass. I learned a lot from him, and that was kind of the start of everything. It tested me a lot, and playing with all these great teammates, great players, I learned so much. There's a lot of stuff I'm going to be able to take with me and try to use somewhere else.”
Patrick Beverley: “Like a part of me understands it, right? If I'm outside looking in and I'm reading something, you know, big bold praying, I see mug shot would never hurt my sister. So this day one of uh innocent until proven guilty. I'm so [ __ ] salty right now. The things that that they saying on the internet is unbelievable. Punch my sister, choke my sister. I just can't wait till the truth come out, right? And when the truth come out, I still it still ain't going to serve me like as much justice. So, but like look at this. Like, like look at this. Like, I have to call from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. for drug testing. Stuff that comes with the situation that happened. I can't be around my sister, right? Thousand feet. My mom house is next door to mine. So, it's like connected. I have to move them to the Chicago property. Like, I can't see my mom.

Patrick Beverley: “I'm detained. I'm in back of the car. [music] You know, the officers Pat, you know, I know exactly who you are. U I don't know if you trying to be good cop, you know, bad cop by. First thing in the was how tight the cuffs were. My god. Like I'm not familiar with the prison system. I'm not familiar with being locked up. I'm not familiar with handcuffs. I'm just not I'm not I'm familiar with the Gatorade bottles, towels, a basketball. I'm not familiar with the law enforcement. Instantly, first thing that stood off was back of the car uncomfortable."
Patrick Beverley: I'm embarrassed by the situation. I'm embarrassed of the accusations. I'm embarrassed of how the narrative is on on social media. So, I don't know if it's the right thing to do or not. Probably not, but I just been trying to stay off social media, stay off the grid until the truth comes [music] out.
Patrick Beverley: Wait wait. Looky looky what happen?? Aww ok I guess I wasn’t wrong!! And why didn’t a contending team want him? And why did ATL trade franchise? PatBev™️
Former NBA star Patrick Beverley will no longer face a felony assault charge connected to allegations made by his teenage sister late last year that he grabbed her by the neck and punched her in the eye during an altercation at their mother’s home. On Monday, a grand jury in the 240th District Court of Fort Bend County, Texas, returned a “no bill” —— meaning that insufficient evidence had been found — concerning the third-degree felony charge against Beverley of assault and impeding breath/circulation. District clerk Beverley McGrew Walker ordered that the complaint against the former player be dismissed.
