Lou Williams: I’m going to throw some names out there and you give me your guess on where they'll be next year. All right? Sam Amick: Yes, sir. Williams: Let's start with Ja Morant. Amick: Ja Morant, I mean, the only two teams I've heard and I'll pick one of them is New Orleans and Sacramento, so I'll probably push it to New Orleans way. Chandler Parsons: I'm going to throw Minnesota out there just for fun. Chandler Parsons: I'm going to throw Minnesota out there just for fun. Amick: Yeah, that one's in there, too. Good call, Chandler.

Chandler Parsons on Chet Holmgren: "I do think there is some sort of mental block when it comes to Victor Wembanyama. I really do. I don't think it is like Space Jam, but I don't think he can take two shots in Game 7. You don't play 33 minutes and take two shots. I would rather live and die with going down with Ajay Mitchell out and Jalen Williams out. I would rather have him be 0 for 15 than one for two."

Run It Back: Lou Williams says the Thunder shouldn't give up on Chet Holmgren. "Lu Dort will be the adjustment." Chandler Parsons: "Good news for OKC is Hartenstein & Dort are their only free agents. Bad news is Harrison Barnes is the only FA on the Spurs."

Tony Allen: "I'm going to tell you what put a little flame to it. I remember this vividly. I'll tell you what put a little flame. Well, put a little flame to it. You're married now and we can speak on this. You're married now. You used to have just the hottest babes in the front court." Chandler Parsons: "Why was that a bad thing?" Tony Allen: "And then it was that was the focus and then you're rehab, you're rehab somewhere in LA. We look up you in Cabo. It was kind of weird and then it was coach, you know coach feels that that's your homeboy. He told the media, you know, we about to sign Chandler Parsons, he the best thing with an IQ like LeBron James. I said, what? Not no kicking it in Cabo at this time of the year. And so the fans and we was expecting, but I'm here to give you your flowers." Zach Randolph: "Yeah, give you your flowers."

Chandler Parsons: I appreciate you saying that because again, the shit I had to go through with my injuries and my own personal struggle to get back and to be the player I once was was so difficult. And then you add this pressure of expectation, a big contract, being a missing piece and failing at all of those. It sucked and I just felt not attacked but just I felt like I was in a constant battle with my own home fans and my own front office, my own ownership almost blaming me for taking this contract."

Chandler Parsons on playing with James Harden: They had to change the rules for him. It was awesome. I think he doesn't get the credit he deserves. When I play with him in Houston, he had just left OKC, like you said, he was kind of that six-man role. This was his opportunity to kind of be the face of a franchise and become who he is today. And he did it and he was so talented offensively. He's so strong. They literally had to change kind of the the swing through foul because you could not guard him because anytime you'd reach, he would just create the contact and get the whistle every single time (…) He's first ballot Hall of Fame.
Chandler Parsons: I wanted to go back and then Mark Cuban offered me the three-year deal in Dallas. And they get like three days or whatever to match through contract if you're a restricted free agent versus an unrestricted free agent. And they didn't did it. They didn't match it. So, like it is bittersweet because like I never wanted to leave Houston. I love Houston. I loved playing for Kevin McCale. I loved playing with James and Dwight.

One of my better years I averaged like 16 or 17 points in a season playing with him because he created so much attention and the scouting report obviously was to stop him and I would just play off the catch and just kind of eat off him. But I love playing with him.” (Via @OutTheMudTL )

NBA Courtside: Chandler Parsons says he almost sh*t himself when he found out he was guarding Kevin Durant: “But I’m like also sending pictures to my boys like fu*king holy sh*t I’m starting on Kevin Durant and expecting fully to like get my a** busted, but like I’m going to play hard as fu*k and I remember I played so good like I didn’t even have the crazy amount of points, but I mean I just played great defense on him. I made it hard on him. Like after the game he was saying like it was I made it difficult on him and I was just like this dude saying that like I belong you know what I mean? And that happened so early in my career where at least I knew I could compete with the good players on any given night.” (Via @OutTheMudTL )

Portland Trail Blazers guard Jrue Holiday was defrauded by former Morgan Stanley investment advisor Darryl Cohen, a Manhattan jury concluded in convicting Cohen of wire fraud and investment advisor fraud on Tuesday. Prosecutors from the Southern District of New York charged Cohen and others in 2023 for orchestrating a scheme to defraud Holiday, along with former Houston Rockets forward Chandler Parsons and former New York Knicks guard Courtney Lee, of over $5 million. Cohen was accused of exploiting his advisory and fiduciary relationships with these players.
Cohen’s former clients — Portland Trail Blazers guard Jrue Holiday and former players Chandler Parsons and Courtney Lee — all took the stand against him at trial. They testified that Cohen got them into viatical policies, in which investors purchase insurance on another person, betting the payout on that person’s death will exceed the cost of the premiums.
