And then there's James' second son, Bryce, who could be eligible for the NBA Draft as soon as 2026. Bryce will be suiting up for the Arizona Wildcats, and as is the case for the Lakers star's children, all eyes will be on him. But James is reminding both of his sons that nothing is given, even to those who share the same blood he has, and reminded them that everyone's road to the top is different  — much like Boston Celtics guard Derrick White experienced on his way to becoming an NBA champion and an Olympic gold medalist. “My message was to them, ‘Everybody's road to success is different so stay locked in and patient. That was my message to my boys last year,” James told Steve Nash on the Mind the Game podcast. “Unranked in high school, zero D1 scholarship offers, played three years of Division Two basketball at UCCS, transferred to Colorado and now an NBA champion. That guy is Derrick White.”

He was also the No. 4-ranked basketball prospect in the nation and shared McDonald's All American Game MVP honors with a future Hall of Famer -- Kevin Durant. The USC Trojans and UCLA Bruins offered Budinger a chance to play both sports in college. But, he committed to the Arizona Wildcats, deciding to put volleyball on the shelf and see how far basketball could take him.

It’s no news that both Drew Eubanks and Donte DiVincenzo have shown interest in playing for the Italian national team on the road to this summer’s 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, both having discovered their roots belonging to the European country. However, there hasn’t really been an update coming from the Azzurri side until today. Talking to Tuttosport, Gianmarco Pozzecco’s assistant coach and Arizona Wildcats’ coaching staff member Riccardo Fois addressed this topic. “They know we’re interested, and we know they are too. We’re glad for it because it means what we’ve been doing with the [Italian] national team is appealing”, he said about Drew Eubanks and Donte DiVincenzo, whose procedures for getting an Italian passport aren’t yet concluded.
