Turkiye has announced its preliminary roster for the upcoming FIBA World Cup European qualifiers, with Ergin Ataman preparing a deep and talent-filled squad for the next international window. The Turkish national team will feature a mix of EuroLeague players, young prospects, and NBA talent as they continue their strong run in Group C. The biggest names on the roster are NBA players Alperen Sengun and Adem Bona. Ataman's squad also includes several experienced EuroLeague and national team regulars.

Tim Bontemps: Nick Nurse said it’s fair to expect Joel Embiid will be day-to-day going forward with his ankle and hip injuries that held him out of Game 2 tonight. Nurse didn’t tip his hand on starters, but if it goes like the first round expect Adem Bona to start.

Gina Mizell: Per the Sixers’ afternoon injury report, Jabari Walker remains OUT for tonight’s game against Portland. Adem Bona and Andre Drummond are both listed as questionable with back issues. Bona played yesterday, and his designation is back injury management on the second game of a back to back.

Omari Sankofa II: Chaz is available for the Pistons. Adem Bona is also out for Philly, and Andre Drummond is questionable

Austin Krell: Joel Embiid is OUT for tomorrow night’s game vs the Nets in Brooklyn. Paul George is QUESTIONABLE. VJ Edgecombe is OUT. Tyrese Maxey is off the injury report. Adem Bona is PROBABLE. MPJ and Cam Thomas OUT for Brooklyn.

Adam Aaronson: Asked Adem Bona if he expects to be back on Friday in Brooklyn: “That’s my big goal, and I feel like I’m right there. My ankle feels great.”

Adam Aaronson: No concrete updates on Paul George and Joel Embiid, per Sixers. Injury report will be the next key piece of information there. Kelly Oubre Jr. and Adem Bona were the only Sixers to not practice fully today.

Adam Aaronson: Sixers say Adem Bona has a right ankle sprain and will miss three games and be re-evaluated on Friday.

Adam Aaronson: Nick Nurse seemed optimistic talking about the idea of Joel Embiid and Adem Bona playing together. He said that in those lineups, Embiid is the four and Bona is the five. Highlighted high-low passing, rebounding and rim protection as areas where that pairing can thrive.
