In addition to Morant, Milwaukee was linked with trade interest in several notable names on the trade market, including Morant, Michael Porter Jr., Zach LaVine, Andrew Wiggins, Jerami Grant, Miles Bridges, Malik Monk, Keon Ellis, and other players. However, with Antetokounmpo out for a significant amount of time, there’s less urgency for the Bucks to act immediately.

Still, Bridges remains unmoved by the chatter. “Just focus on winning, focus on controlling what I can control,” Bridges told The Charlotte Observer on Saturday. “If I get traded, if I don’t get traded. … I would rather be here. But I know if I do get traded, I know Jeff Peterson (the Hornets’ president of basketball operations) and those guys, they’ll talk to me first. So, I don’t try to worry about that. I just worry about the games.”

League sources say that the Bucks, frankly, were already struggling to generate difference-making trade discussions by making the likes of Kyle Kuzma and Bobby Portis Jr. available. Brooklyn's Porter, Sacramento's Zach LaVine, Cleveland's De'Andre Hunter, Portland's Jerami Grant and Charlotte's Miles Bridges have all been mentioned as potential targets, but the Bucks' lack of available draft capital to sweeten trade offers has clearly complicated the search for reinforcements.

John Gambadoro: A few things here. The Suns have always liked Miles Bridges. They also do not currently have a first-round pick they can trade. And they are not looking to do anything crazy right now.

As for Hornets that might be on the move, veteran forward Miles Bridges is drawing significant interest, league sources told The Athletic. The Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns are all known to be among the interested parties, though it remains to be seen if any team can compel the Hornets to give Bridges up. Charlotte’s lack of interest in the Bucks’ Kyle Kuzma is known to be an obstacle to a potential deal between those two teams. Draft capital is also a pivotal part of the conversation. “They want a first (round pick),” one league source said. “Maybe two.”

Bridges was closing in on moving past Larry Johnson and Gerald Wallace to trail only Kemba Walker and Dell Curry on the franchise’s all-time scoring list, something that became reality in Sunday night’s 110-87 victory over the Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena. “That means a lot at the same time because those guys put in hard work, and they actually made the playoffs here,” Bridges said. “So, that just shows my loyalty to this team and their loyalty to me. That’s big for me. I just want to continue to keep climbing up the ranks, but at the same time, I want to help us win.”
The Bucks can accept a larger contract with multiple years beyond this season that an opposing team might be trying to get out from under, such as Miami's Andrew Wiggins, who owns a $30 million player option for next season, or Charlotte's Miles Bridges, who will make $22.8 million in the 2026-27 season, team and league sources told ESPN.
