Three-time WNBA champion Breanna Stewart and NBA star Myles Turner are joining forces. The basketball duo is launching a new podcast, "Game Recognize Game with Stewie and Myles," with iHeart. According to Front Office Sports, the weekly show, the first to feature an active WNBA and NBA player, is expected to blend basketball, culture and more. "Just being able to see the game through our eyes - our lens - whether we’re breaking down what’s happening in the WNBA CBA right now or what he’s doing with the Bucks,” Stewart said. “You don’t see the podcasts with the breakdowns right after [games], so I want to do that with Myles [Turner].”

Stephen Curry took to the Spectrum Center floor in Charlotte wearing the "Unrivaled" colorway of his latest Under Armor brand Curry Series 7 basketball shoes, featuring a blue, purple and white design. Unrivaled is a 3x3 basketball league founded by former UConn women's basketball stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart as an alternative to overseas competition for WNBA stars during the offseason, which will begin its second season Jan. 5 with a loaded quadruple-header of action.

Some of these new fans stepped up their support during Unrivaled's Series A fundraising round in March, generating more than $35 million in revenue ahead of the league's second season. One of these financial backers was Stephen Curry, who spoke about his support for the upstart league at the time.

New York Liberty All-Star forward Breanna Stewart said she would welcome NBA commissioner Adam Silver joining the collective bargaining negotiations with the WNBA because "what we’re doing right now isn’t really working." Silver said Tuesday night he's been monitoring the protracted negotiations, and would be willing to join the talks in hopes of getting a deal done that would avoid a lockout or a strike.
According to The Athletic, the league has offered revenue sharing at 15% while the union has proposed 30%. The sides also differ on how that percentage, as well as the salary cap, would be calculated. "We know how important as players it is to play and to be on the court," Stewart said. "But at the same time, if we're not going to be valued the way that we know we should be, in the way that every kind of number situation tells us, then we're just not going to do something that doesn't make sense for us."

The WNBA last season had its most-watched regular season in 24 years and its best attendance in 22 seasons. Some of the league's most popular players currently are competing in a new 3-on-3 league in South Florida called Unrivaled, founded by Olympic gold medalists Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart. ''We carry this on for him,'' said Satou Sabally, a forward with the WNBA's Dallas Wings who plays for the Phantom squad in Unrivaled. ''He would be so proud of this league. He would be proud of 'Phe and Stewie. I know that he's looking down and hopefully he's smiling and is proud of us.''
Mike Vorkunov: Unrivaled, the new 3-on-3 basketball league co-founded by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, has reached a multi-year rights deal with TNT Sports and will air on TNT and TruTV. TNT Sports also invested in Unrivaled and taken equity in the league.
