EuroCup’s Greek club Aris Thessaloniki has announced the signing of 2021 NBA champion Bryn Forbes on a one-year deal. The 31-year-old guard spent seven seasons in the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs, Milwaukee Bucks, Denver Nuggets, and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Former San Antonio Spurs player Bryn Forbes is in hot water yet again. Forbes was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with assault of a family member. Police were called out to the WaterWalk at The Rim apartments on the Northwest Side Monday for a disturbance. According to police records, Forbes went to the apartment of the woman who is the mother of their children and banged on the window while she was sleeping. She says they have had an on and off relationship for the last 13 years. Authorities say when she opened the door, he hit and started to choke her.
Mariah Medina: JUST IN: Bryn Forbes has been arrested on a 3rd degree felony charge of assault strangulation/choking of a family member. Sources say a warrant was issued for his arrest yesterday. Forbes was arrested around this time last year (2/15/23) on a family violence charge that was dismissed last month after he completed a pretrial diversion program. His bond has been set at $7500 according to booking records.

Former San Antonio Spurs guard and NBA free agent Bryn Forbes was arrested in San Antonio on a misdemeanor family violence charge early Wednesday morning. Forbes, 29, was arrested around 5:15 a.m. at the La Cantera Resort & Spa, in the 16600 block of La Cantera Parkway, on the city’s far Northwest Side.
According to San Antonio police, Forbes assaulted someone he is said to be in a dating relationship with. A preliminary police report says Forbes was out with the woman when he became upset. That’s when, police say, the pair drove home and upon their arrival got involved in an altercation, which then became physical. Police said the woman was struck several times by Forbes, causing injury and needing medical assistance. Forbes was taken by officers into police custody.
