Chris Fedor: It just doesn't feel like the same kind of situation as Luke Travers and I just don't sense a whole lot of urgency from Yabusele. It's basically like ‘okay if if you're going to call me and you're going to make it worth it for me to come to the NBA and you're going to give me an opportunity that's appealing enough to come to the NBA, then I'll do it, but if not I'm fine just staying overseas and continuing to play in the Euroleague where I'm getting consistent minutes, I'm getting consistent touches, I'm getting opportunities to play in high-level environments against some really good competition, and then when the summer rolls around I can play for Team France at the World Cup or the Olympics or something along those lines’. I just think in this kind of situation I don't know that the Cavs are the most logical fit for him from an opportunity and cost standpoint.
Chris Fedor on Luke Travers: ‘When we talked to him shortly before the start of summer league it was during Cavs summer camp he mentioned that he wanted to come to the NBA and in his mind it needed to happen ASAP and he just didn't want to be a guy who was going to be stuck in Australia not getting this this dream opportunity, that he was hoping for that, that he's been working for. It's clear that Luke feels as if he's ready for the next step in his career and that means the next step in his career being outside of Australia. Does he feel like that is the G-League primarily? That's a question that I don't think anybody has an answer to right now. But I think when you look at the way that this roster is made up that's probably going to be the path that he would have to take, because I think the Cavs would be more open to bringing him from Australia if it means him being on a two-way contract as opposed to one of those locked in NBA standard deals.
