University of Cincinnati senior center Aziz Bandaogo announced Friday his intentions to test the NBA Draft with plans to finish his collegiate career with the Bearcats next year.
The University of Cincinnati athletics department mourns the loss of men's basketball great George Wilson, the only Bearcat to win a national championship (1962) and Olympic gold medal (Tokyo, 1964). He was 81.

University of Cincinnati guard Keith Williams said on Friday he plans to enter the 2020 NBA Draft, but is keeping his options open.

The Enquirer talked to University of Cincinnati head coach Mick Cronin and Xavier University head coach Travis Steele to see what they think of the G-League offering contracts to college basketball's top prospects. “It should have never come in (the one-and-done)," said Cronin. "If a guy is 18 he can go off to war for his country, he should be able to play basketball. You can’t regulate bad decisions. There’s going to be bad decisions in all walks of life. We’re not regulating baseball players, hockey players, tennis players and golfers. Why are we regulating basketball players?”

Robertson's Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame ring and induction trophy, 11 of his NBA All-Star rings and his game-worn jerseys from the Milwaukee Bucks and University of Cincinnati are also included in the Lelands.com 2018 auction.

The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team has signed guard Sean Kilpatrick to a 10-day contract. The Timberwolves were granted an NBA hardship exception for a 16th roster spot due to having four players out due to injury. Kilpatrick, 25, has averaged 13.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 42 games this season with Delaware and Santa Cruz of the NBADL. Kilpatrick, 6-4, went undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft after a four-year career at the University of Cincinnati. Kilpatrick finished his career with averages of 15.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 140 contests, earning Second-Team All-America honors his senior season. Kilpatrick was signed by the Golden State Warriors on October 20, 2014 and waived on October 24, 2014 after playing with the Philadelphia 76ers on their 2014 NBA Summer League team.

Robertson is the biggest name on the list of investors. He played at the University of Cincinnati in the late 1950s before going on to a stellar NBA career with the Cincinnati Royals and Milwaukee Bucks. He said in a statement released by ResponsibleOhio that he was taking part because of the benefits from medical marijuana. "It's a terrible feeling when you can't help someone suffering from cancer or another debilitating medical condition — I know from personal experience, Robertson said in the statement. The NBA great had surgery a few years ago after being diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Lance Stephenson is no longer under contract with the Indiana Pacers, but he’s still using team facilities. The free agent posted an Instagram video Thursday afternoon at Bankers Life Fieldhouse working out with friend Sean Kilpatrick, a 6-4 shooting guard also out of the University of Cincinnati. Though Stephenson is getting shots up at the Pacers’ practice court, note that he isn’t wearing team gear — but rather AND-1 shorts.
