He’s shown that it’s possible,” said the veteran of 361 NBA games, stretching from the Lakers to the San Antonio Spurs, Brooklyn Nets, and Philadelphia 76ers. “When you have a player like that, it’s kind of just a domino effect. I came next up in line. Now you have more and more players, as far as Americans coming in now. According to BasketNews sources, the total gross value of the contract is estimated at around $10 million over three seasons, placing Walker among the highest-paid players in Europe.

While Walker has committed to a long-term stay in Tel Aviv, the deal includes an NBA exit clause valid until August 1, 2025, which allows NBA teams a one-week window to bring him back to the United States.
