Trail Blazers PR: INJURY UPDATE: Sidy Cissoko and Yang Hansen are AVAILABLE to play tonight @ ATL.
Michael Scotto: Update: The Trail Blazers signed Sidy Cissoko to a two-year deal, which is fully guaranteed the rest of this season and is non-guaranteed for the 2026-27 season, league sources told @hoopshype . Cissoko has started 24 of 52 games this season, averaging 6.3 points and 2.5 rebounds.
Sean Highkin: Tiago Splitter on Sidy Cissoko getting an NBA contract: “He deserves it. He’s helped us so much. He’s gotten better in every aspect of the game.”
Sean Highkin: It doesn’t appear anything is imminent as far as converting Caleb Love or Sidy Cissoko to standard deals. Cissoko is out of two-way eligibility and can’t play anymore. Love has 5 games left. Could still happen down the road but not as urgent with Murray+Thybulle getting healthy

Sean Highkin: The Blazers made Sidy Cissoko inactive tonight in Minnesota, presumably so he's eligible to play tomorrow in Utah when Scoot/Deni might not play. Then they can figure out his contract/roster stuff over the All-Star break.
Sean Highkin: Blazers now have to waive or buy out two guys to keep Caleb Love and Sidy Cissoko. About $1.4 million under the tax.
Sean Highkin: Avdija and Reath are out, Simons and Camara are TBD, Cissoko is playing.
Sean Highkin: Deni Avdija, Toumani Camara, Sidy Cissoko, Duip Reath and Anfernee Simons are all questionable tomorrow vs. San Antonio. Scoot Henderson remains out.
