Charlotte Hornets PR: INJURY UPDATE: @hornets forward Kon Knueppel (L Hamstring), Grant Williams (R Hamstring) and Coby White (L Calf) have returned to individual on court activity as they rehab their injuries. All three will be listed as OUT tomorrow at BKN as they continue their return to play plans. Additional updates on their status will be provided as appropriate.

Grant Williams on Hornets: "Our depth is ridiculous. I was talking to all of our coaches the other day and just looking at the the the the talent on the roster, the ability to shoot the ball, I think that we have a great chance to surprise a lot of people because we did lose two of, you know, important players for us in LaMelo and Miles, guys who are going to make huge impacts in their respective teams that they're about to play on. But to replace them with the players and the character of guys that we have, um, coming in, I think that, you know, the guys that were already here are going to take a huge step in the Cody Zellers, the Brandon Millers, uh, the Kobe White even from what you saw as a bench role last year and as a starter in Chicago. But on top of that, you know, I think that the group is going to really get along, but I think that synergy is going to bring a lot of, you know, competitive joy out. And that this Hornets team is going to be very fun to watch and it's going to be hyper competitive."

Grant Williams on collecting NBA trading cards: "Allen Iverson, his market has just ballooned over the past year and a half, two years. So that was pretty cool. And then last but not least, I'm actually auctioning one of my two Allen Iverson cards in an auction here in the next couple weeks, which is exciting. I think I had a smaller Chuck Hayes card, which is kind of embarrassing to say. Listen, I love players that were my size and were playing in the league. So like Chuck Hayes, Draymond Green, Boris Diaw, those were like my favorite players growing up because they looked like me and gave me a chance."

It’s already happening and Miller has been completely on board with it. He cited the organizational turnout in South Charlotte on Saturday for his celebrity pickleball classic hosted by the Team Miller Foundation. “Definitely,” Miller said. “Being there for our teammates, showing up for events like this … I went to Grant’s golf tournament this year, been to Grant’s camp this year, plan on going to Coby White’s camp. It’s just showing up for the guys. That’s all we can ask for. “We see them every day throughout the season, but showing up for stuff and their needs is kind of important to them as a player.”

The odds are going to change next season in the first place. So, this is a good year for us to do something special, right?”
“Kon’s a little bit more of an a--hole, but like our a--hole,” forward Grant Williams told ESPN with a sincere smile. “But he’s a great human being. He’s the guy that just keeps it blunt, tells the truth. And then Melo’s loud, eccentric, tattooed ... I feel like Kon’s a little bit more religious. Just completely random different walks of life.
