Dustin Dopirak: Pascal Siakam ruled out for Sunday’s game against Cleveland. Left ankle sprain the listed reason. Aaron Nesmith, Andrew Nembhard, TJ McConnell also out. Ben Sheppard and Jarace Walker questionable

Dustin Dopirak: Pascal Siakam: "I don't think I realized how many times we lost at home in a row. It's tough. You don't want to be in this situation. Our fans deserved better. The support has been amazing."

Dustin Dopirak: Pascal Siakam: "We're gonna learn a lot. And I hope we learn a lot from this season. ... For the past couple of years here we've done a lot of winning." Says sometimes you need to lose to be reminded what it takes to win.

Scott Agness: Pacers beat the Heat 135-118 for their first home win since Jan. 31 over Hawks. Dominated the 4Q 27-11. Pascal Siakam had 30-11-6, Micah Potter scored 21 (5/6 from range), and Kobe Brown added 18. Next: Final road trip of the season: Chicago, Charlotte, Cleveland.

Dustin Dopirak: Carlisle says Pascal Siakam, Andrew Nembhard and T.J. McConnell will be available. Says Aaron Nesmith has been dealing with the cervical strain for the last two games and woke up this morning and it was clear he wasn't in a good spot with it.

Tony East: Rick Carlisle said pregame in San Antonio that Andrew Nembhard and Pascal Siakam are going to play tonight.

Myles Turner: “I couldn’t tell Tyrese, Pascal, Obi, TJ, or any of those guys what was really going on at the time because, one, it’s basically a breach when you’re in active negotiations. And two, I couldn’t show my hand. If I told them what was up, then all of a sudden it gets back to the front office like, ‘Oh, Myles, you’ve got this going on,’ and that could mess up my whole free-agency process. And mind you, this was my first time ever being a free agent—an unrestricted free agent. So I had to cherish that opportunity to choose, and I was going to take full advantage of it.”

Tony East: Pascal Siakam, Andrew Nembhard, and Ben Sheppard are out tonight, Carlisle says. Aaron Nesmith, TJ McConnell, Obi Toppin, and Ivica Zubac all playing. Jalen Slawson and Taelon Peter will be active.

What made you decide to leave the city that you won a championship with? Fred VanVleet: My time was just up. There's always a carryover from a championship and we just weren't able to gel that group together like we were supposed to. That team, me, Scottie Barnes, Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, like on paper you're like ‘damn that's a good ass team’, but we never really like made it what it was supposed to be. So my time was up and Houston came calling and yeah, we got such and such. I'm like, "Huh? What you mean?" I hung up. I called. You said, "How much?" All right, cool. Yeah, I love Houston. It's my favorite city in the world, actually. You know, so that was really it. And I wrapped my mind around it, but they had young talent there.
