Christian Clark: Source: Jeremiah Robinson-Earl has signed a 10-day contract with the Mavericks and will be active tonight. Mavs were granted a hardship exception. JRE has been with the Texas Legends for the past month.

Adding to the misery, sophomore forward Cody Williams set a new NBA record for the worst single-game plus-minus in at least the last 30 years of tracking data, posting -60. The previous record of -58 was shared by Scoot Henderson and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl. Williams started the game and scored 15 points over 32.5 minutes. This season, the 21-year-old is averaging 4.6 points and -4.2 plus-minus per game.

The Indiana Pacers announced Tuesday that the team was granted an NBA Hardship Exception and subsequently signed forward Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to a second 10-day contract.

Jeremiah Robinson-Earl could give them needed forward depth in Toppin's absence. He's averaging 6.3 points and 4.3 rebounds for his career. "We needed someone with some size and versatility," Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said. "Was kind of surprised he was available. He's a guy who's easy to like. He played 4 and 5 and he's played some 3 in the NBA with Oklahoma City. I know he was in camp with Dallas and the Dallas people liked him a lot. Good opportunity for him, good opportunity for us."

Shams Charania: The Indiana Pacers are planning to sign forward Jeremiah Robinson-Earl via a 10-day hardship exception, sources tell ESPN. Robinson-Earl joins an injury-plagued Pacers squad after spending his first four NBA seasons with the Thunder and Pelicans.
Marc Stein: The Mavericks have waived Dalano Banton, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Dennis Smith Jr. Their @TexasLegends affiliate holds the G League rights on Banton and Robinson-Earl and Dallas remains in talks with Milwaukee to acquire Smith's G League rights from the Wisconsin Herd.

Marc Stein: Dalano Banton had no shortage of overseas interest but held out for an NBA opportunity. Dallas' roster is realistically full but (as with Jeremiah Robinson-Earl) it gets Banton's G League rights. Dallas is also still working to obtain Dennis Smith Jr.'s G League rights from the Bucks.

Dallas Mavericks PR: The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have signed guard Dennis Smith Jr. and forward/center Jeremiah Robinson-Earl. Per team policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed. In a related move, Dallas has requested waivers on guard D’Moi Hodge.

Marc Stein: The Mavericks are finalizing an agreement to sign former Thunder and Pelicans big man Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to bring him to training camp, @TheSteinLine has learned.
Marc Stein: As with the Mavericks’ recent signing of Dennis Smith Jr., there does not appear to be roster room for Robinson-Earl, who nonetheless chose to take Dallas’ offer rather than seize upon overseas interest for the chance to try to force his way onto a seemingly full 15-man squad.
Oleh Kosel: A Jose Alvarado assist to Keion Brooks seals it, Pelicans beat Hornets 98-94. New Orleans' play improved immensely after halftime. Keion Brooks: 17 PTS, 8 REB; Antonio Reeves: 16 PTS, 4 3s; Kelly Olynyk: 13 PTS, 6 REB; Jose Alvarado/Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: 12 PTS EA
