Today, the Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, announced they have acquired the returning player rights to 2025-26 All-NBA G League First Team guard Tristen Newton and forward Teddy Allen in a three-team trade with the Delaware Blue Coats and Iowa Wolves. In exchange, Delaware receives the returning player rights to guard Jameer Nelson Jr., while Iowa receives the returning player rights to forward Jaylin Williams and Stockton’s second-round pick in the 2027 NBA G League Draft.
On Wednesday, the Houston Rockets announced that rookie center Rafael Castro signed a two-way contract. To make room for the roster spot, Tristen Newton was released.
