Michael Scotto: The Houston Rockets and Tristen Newton have agreed to a two-way contract, league sources told @hoopshype. Newton has averaged 26.8 points on 49.4% from the field and 37.6% from 3-point range, 7.7 assists, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.7 steals with Iowa Wolves in the G League this season.

Michael Scotto: Minnesota Timberwolves guard Tristen Newton has signed his two-way qualifying offer and will return to the team, league sources told @hoopshype. Newton averaged 16.5 points, 6.7 assists, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game in the G League last season.
