The Indiana Pacers set a new franchise record with their 13th straight loss Tuesday, falling to the Cleveland Cavaliers 120-116. The Pacers led by as many as 9 points early on, but they couldn’t overcome the Cavaliers’ size, as illustrated by Cleveland’s outscoring Indiana 64-42 on points in the paint. Center Jay Huff scored a season-high 20 points and made 4 of 7 3-point attempts, but All-Star forward Pascal Siakam had a rough night offensively (9-of-23 shooting).

The Pacers have ruled out Ben Sheppard (left calf strain) for Monday’s game against Houston. TJ McConnell (right hamstring soreness) and Jay Huff (left ankle sprain) are available.

Tony East: Aaron Nesmith off the injury report for the Pacers tomorrow in Houston. TJ McConnell questionable with his hamstring soreness. Jay Huff added as questionable with a left ankle sprain, Ben Sheppard upgraded to questionable with his left calf strain.

James Wiseman said he had spent the last three weeks in Irvine, Calif. working out and getting pickup opportunities to stay in shape. "He's been in California, working out," Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said. "He's been finding pickup games out there. We worked him out early this morning. He looks great. He's not in NBA game shape by any stretch, no one can be, but for somebody in his situation, he's got the best head start you can probably have." It's not clear exactly how much opportunity Wiseman will have. Jay Huff and Isaiah Jackson still occupy the top two spots on the Pacers' depth chart a center and Bradley will be listed as active.

K.C. Johnson: For all the Yuki Kawamura fans out there—and judging from the preseason, there are a lot—he was in good spirits postgame chatting up former Memphis teammate Jay Huff last night. Kawamura has stayed in Chicago as he rehabs back from right lower leg condition.

Scott Agness: Pascal Siakam sinks a 14-footer over two defenders to give the Pacers a 103-101 win over the Bulls. And their first win streak of the season. He led all with 24/9, Jay Huff was great with 14/8/4b. Now a much-needed off day for the team after 4 games in 6 days this week.
Pascal Siakam, at the buzzer. Pacers win 103-101.

Shams Charania: The Memphis Grizzlies are trading center Jay Huff to the Indiana Pacers for one second-round pick and one second-round pick swap, sources tell ESPN.

Similar issues arose with Booth, who wanted the Nuggets to employ stretch five Jay Huff ... only for Malone to hardly play Huff last season. Both Booth and assistant general manager Tommy Balcetis, sources say, believed Huff was more than capable of slotting into meaningful minutes to spell Jokić.

Memphis Grizzlies PR: The @Memphis Grizzlies have assigned Jay Huff to the @Memphis Hustle for tonight’s game against the South Bay Lakers. Huff will be recalled to the Grizzlies following the game.
